Adding front camera?

I am planning to run a camera under the Jeep (already have front cam) and just picked this up on prime day


I do have a couple of questions for those who have done this tho. When I activate the cargo cam, will I lose the Jeep camera icons? Also, does anyone know where to source the female rca to 2 pin adapter for the Uconnect plug?

Would love to find this as well. I already have that same Nakita camera as I had ordered one a few years ago for a project that got cancelled, so it's just been sitting on the shelf. I had previously used one on my daughter's Kia Soul that didn't have an OEM backup camera and was very happy with the image quality. I just did a test fit and I think it will mount very nicely in the very top opening of my 4xe grill and have an almost perfect field of view.

My camera is from amazon, paid like $30 for it I think. I drilled a hole through the bottom of my license plate which is curved around the bumper and flush mounted it. That view was perfect for Moab! It's not in HD, but was more than sufficient. I drove half that trail looking at the screen to see what was on the other side of whatever I was cresting.

Also, as an alternative, I used OBD JScan app($20) and a bluetooth OBD scanner from amazon ($50). Much cheaper than the tazer option if you don't need all the other features.

Thanks, I found it right after posting this and was just about to update this post. I also found a post linking to some pins to build your own, but for $25 plus shipping I'm just gonna press the easy button since I have enough other projects to worry about. I've already got a Tazer and JScan so I'm good there, just need the ZAuto cable and time to wire it up!

I saw that too before I did mine. $25 is worth saving the headache!!

Anybody know if the ZAuto video input cable for a U-connect 8.4 will work for a 2024 Wrangler / Gladiator with the 12.3 screen?
