Thank you all for the great information. I just wanted to jump on here and confirm that the PAC
AP4-CH41 (R.2) With the AP4-CH42 harness works in the 2024 models.
I just installed one in my 2024 with the upgraded Alpine system.
About to go this route with my 2024. No issues getting behind the radio and attaching the harness/PAC? I saw a simple teardown/removal for the 12" screen on youtube, once i found that, figured i would add a subwoofer. I'm on the non-amplified factory radio, so i'll just be adding a all in one sub for some extra bump. already replaced my mids/highs with better components.

Quick question:

I have ordered the PAC AmpPRO AP4-CH41 Aftermarket Amplifier Interface along with a 6 channel amp. Which front speakers should I amplify? Dash or knee speakers? Rears have been changed to 6x9s and I am adding a single 12 for the sub.

Basic system 7 inch screen without alpine upgrade.

I would amplify both front upper dash and front knee speakers. I'd leave roll-bar speakers on factory amp. If not, roll-bar speakers will over-power everything, being so close to ears. Plus by doing this, it should help with improved sound stage by focusing more sound in front of you.
Use last two channels bridged to single sub for headroom.

If you just want it loud...light up those 6"x9"s in roll bar. lol....

.

I watched the same vid. after you pull it apart and attaché the harness. You stuff all the wiring down to the right. You will be able to access the Pac when you remove the glove box.

+1 on installing components up front. That is how Quart does it and I have been very happy with the system.

If you are using an amp with high level inputs and a DSP do you also need the PAC device?

Yes, that will work. I'm not sure why you would want to do that since the PAC piece makes wiring that much easier but to each their own.

2024 w/ Uconnect 5 here.

I wasn't able to get the right parts, or emails from LLJ customs.... and their facebook page seems kinda hostile towards people asking for updates, in stock dates, etc.

So I got effectively the same thing from PAC.

I plan to amplify all 4 channels and add a sub. After attempting to dry-fit all of this crap under the front seats, I decided that's probably going to be a lot more frustration that it's worth. Won't be able to access any of it without removing the seats.

So I'm going to use the tub in the back. I hate to lose that storage but I keep a toolbox in the back anyway, so what difference does it make. It'll keep the audio stuff from getting dirty/dusty from my dog anyway.

If anyone has mounted their stuff in the rear tub, I'd love to see it.

Did a little fiddling today. Got the T harness ready. Ran a 4GA welding cable across the engine bay, back to the tub.

This was so much easier in my old JK - Lots of room for cables... These new fangled vehicles are bananas with all of the "stuff" in them.

Thanks. Trying to take my time and wire manage it. Got up early today to get the dash apart to install new speaker pods and get the t-harness plugged in if I'm making good time.
