I gave up and left it on the floor mat behind the drivers side. There's really no room for a sizable amp. Back when I used a ported box for the 10W7 I had mounted the amp screwed directly into the box itself. This time around I wanted to be able to quickly pull the sub out but leave the amp installed.
I recently had an amp installed as a part of an upgrade. The installers put it in the little storage cubby in the back.
I have a 2019 Sport, and I added a sub/amp combo under the passenger seat, Alpine PSS-23wra (found kit on ebay for $700). Not sure if you have the upgraded head unit, but also replaced it with the Insane Audio JL4001. Replaced overhead speakers with Alpine R 6.5 coaxial. Only factory left is the midrange in the dash (the better Alpine tweeters came with kit), which are too much work for (me) upgrading. It was a pain but not too difficult and now it sounds pretty awesome at any speed with or without top. I couldn't find the kit bracket anywhere without buying the full kit, but it's definitely worth it now.
