Has anyone added a light bar or additional lights to the factory fog light circuit? I would like to add a small light bar on the bumper and wondering if you can splice into this circuit without any problems.

Its a terrible idea if you ever plan on running your fog lights on the road. Other than that the biggest concern would be if your added light bar would exceed the rated fuse on the circuit to begin with.

I wondered something similar. If I got a winch bumper that had no provision for my factory fog lights, are there any plug-and-play lights that I can use the factory wiring with?

I'm talking just two round lamps, one on each end of the bumper.

I added lights to my factory fog circuit non-destructively by modifying an extension harness into a piggyback that switches a relay. [And, I use a second relay to switch the additional lights separately.]

The harness is available at Quadratec (the only thing I'd ever buy there):

Yes, there are plug-and-play round LED fog lights that work with the factory wiring harness. Many aftermarket options use the same OEM connector, so you can install them on a winch bumper and still use the factory fog light switch without cutting any wires. You might just need a small bracket depending on the bumper."
That's what I was hoping. Thanks!
