Adding a hitch camera

I apologize if I'm in the wrong area. Wasn't sure if this was more electronics or towing. I did a google/AI search and got a little more confused. I have a '24 JLU Sahara 4xe and I was looking to add a hitch camera because I can't see the connection with my backup camera. I've seen threads where people just say practice, but I prefer a camera. I use it for my jet skis and sometimes my 6x10 trailer, so there's I don't feel like practicing. Just want to have a camera to see the hitch. On my '14 JKU Rubicon, I was able to connect a camera to a splitter that I could use a switch to go between backup and the hitch camera that I installed. It was very handy, but was looking for a more elegant solution. I read that you could add a camera with the mini Tazer (which I have), but I've found some conflicting information online about model, screen size, etc working. I was wondering if any body has done this or has a good way to set it up. Thanks.

You should be able to see it with your backup camera if you get a long enough ball mount.

I tried looking around for a long ball mount. I have 35" tires and the Jeep OEM third brake light relocation, so I think it would have to be 15" from the pin to be seen by the backup cam. I thought about an extension, but not sure how I feel about an extension for towing up to the recommended towing.

I ended up getting an short extension, so hopefully it will work out ok.
