I have recently mounted an iPad over my Uconnect 8.4 system for my maps and Spotify access. The iPad is USB'd into the infotainment just like a phone for audio. This is a preferable setup for me, compared to CarPlay.
The only draw back with this setup is that the iPad is mounted over the main radio screen and, therefore, I cannot see the backup camera when I am in reverse.
Does anyone know of a way that I can access the backup camera feed so I can transmit it to my iPad or somehow wire the camera feed to display on the Instrument Cluster screen (the latter may be a farfetched Idea).
Any other ideas for accessing my backup camera??
