8.4 Navigation and Bluetooth not working

I just purchased a 2021 JLUR with the 8.4 uconnect yesterday. The dash kept telling me that ESS was not ready because the battery is charging which from my 2018 I learned means the battery is going bad. I replaced the battery this morning and this evening I got into the Jeep with my Wife. I paired my phone to the Jeep and drove to dinner. The phone connected and the navigation system worked fine. After dinner on the drive home the GPS was "looking for a GPS signal" the entire time and when I hit the phone button it says "Connecting To Bluetooth". The Sirius XM does work though. I waited about 10 minutes and started the jeep again with the same results. Any ideas on what is wrong?

Did everything work outside of ess, before you replaced battery?

Since it is used, it sounds like past owner disabled telemetry. 2021 has a different schema than previous years, as it is integrated into the 8.4" unit.

You could pull the radio fuse and wait a minute before installing. It may reset since I have no clue to procedures done to change out the battery. It's 50/50 chance to reset.

Yes everything was good except for start stop which is actually fine as I will get rid of that with the Tazer anyway. On my way into work today it did the same thing (Searching for signals). I googled how to do the soft reset (Hold both buttons in the center of the volume and tuner knobs for 10 seconds, let go and radio turns off and back on again) Now it works. Thank you for the reply!
