Yes, mine is jerky when cold. That’s because the automatic choke within the fuel injection system is causing an increase in the idle rpm. It only lasts about a mile when it calms down to its lower standard idle.My JLUR does the same thing if I am accelerating quickly and accidentally give it a little to much gas while releasing the clutch. Never had a manual do that before but like others have said, I can avoid it 99% of the time by watching my right foot.
On a side note is anyone else Jeep super jerky in 1st and 2nd gear when cold? Like riding a horse bareback through rock quarry jerky? Mine only does this when the car isnt fully up to temp
