Hmm....Havent thought to try it out on mine. I will tomorrow. Perhaps its something to do with ambient temperature? A friend with an 19 or 20 (I forget) JLU Sahara said the Jeep will adjust the cabin temp accordingly when you use remote start. Maybe the Jeep thinks its too warm to use "full power" on the steering wheel? Or am I over thinking this?
Not as much warmth compared to the 2018 Sahara I had. I like it HOT, and it doesn’t seem to have much.
Anybody else notice this? Is there any mods to make it stronger?
Same impression. In my 2018 Rubicon JL the steering wheel was positively hot, unlike the 2021 Rubicon 4xe where it is tepid to warm. Not as much warmth compared to the 2018 Sahara I had. I like it HOT, and it doesn’t seem to have much.

It's way hotter then the 2014 one.yes not as hot as the 2018, however I kinda prefer it this way, with the 2018, it got so hot I would shut it off
Mine is almost identical to my 2018. Damn near burns the hands. In any mode. Couple minutes and I have to shut it off as it reaches the point of being uncomfortable.Same impression. In my 2018 Rubicon JL the steering wheel was positively hot, unlike the 2021 Rubicon 4xe where it is tepid to warm.
YOU DA MAN! That has been driving me crazy.@Terminex
Do you have a Tazer plugged in or some other programmer?
I may be incorrect, but as far as I know automatically turning on the passenger seat heater is not a stock function.
It is a selectable option on a Tazer JL Mini though.
Passenger seat heat coming on isn't a stock option. Just driver and steering.I noticed the same issue with the heated wheel on my '19 & my '21 4XE. neither one ever seemed to get "hot", just warm. further, it seemed like it got warm at first, and then cooled off fairly quickly.
Another / related question for you all.
When I start my vehicle and it is cold, it automatically starts the heated wheel & the heated seat.
Is there a way to get it to NOT start the passenger seat heater since no one if sitting in the seat?
