The moment has finally arrived. I pick up my JLUR Monday. It took exactly 21 days from order to delivery. After much deliberating, this is what I’ve landed on for my build.

Wheels and Tires
KMC XD229 Machete Satin Black
Milestar Patagonia M/T 40x13.5r17
3.5 Back space

Lift
Rock Krawler 2.5 X Factor with RRD shocks

Bumpers
LOD Destroyer Shorty front bumper with stinger
LOD Destroyer Shorty rear bumper with Tire Carrier

Winch
Smittybilt gen2 x2o 10k

That will pretty much break the bank for now. I’ll have to wait awhile for phase II of the build. I’ll be doing all this myself, so I’ll be updating with pics and videos as I complete things.

Let me know what you guys think!!

Thinking 40's are too much for front rear dana 44's. I think 37's are probably it. I want to be wrong here.

I’ve been back and forth on this a hundred times. I finally decided since this is not my DD, I’d see how long the stock dana’s last and just deal with it then.

Hey,

What did you go with? If 40's, how are the axles holding up?

Wheel hard? How many miles do you have on the rig?

Sorry for all the questions, thank you!
