4 door Alpine Subwoofer removal

What is the trick to remove the sub? I want to add some polls full and I have the team ring removed but it's stuck on something and don't want to go crazy prying.

If memory serves, it’s held in by an additional bolt through the back. You need to remove the plastic shroud and access it through the back. It has been awhile so maybe someone else can confirm for you. You know… memory being what it is.

OK interesting. I pulled that whole thing off yesterday but didn't think to look there. I'll take a look and report back!

Quick update for anyone who may want to reference this down the road. I pulled the panel and as suggested by @C2D2 there was a small screw in the back that goes right into the maginet of the speaker! Once i removed this and the hex bolts on the front it came right out.

That is there to use the sub frame to reinforce the cabinet.

Do you have pictures of removing the plastic cover around the rear speaker?
I see one screw to the upper left of the speaker on my 2023. Is everything else clips ?

From what I recall it was mostly clips but it's been a bit.
