I am interested in relocating my 3rd brake light to the center of my aftermarket wheel for my spare! IF i can do that and the license plate that would be great. Been reading threads and it seems this motobilt version is the easiest way to go! Looking for something simple to take the spare off, looks good with the brake light and license plate in the center. Just trying to get the final results to see if there is anything out there that looks better at the present time before I pull the trigger! Any pictures of this would be great too!
I appreciate the advice!

I just installed the Teraflex tire carrier that came with the 3rd brake light relocation kit. It clamps on to the Teraflex carrier so you'd probably need to switch to that to use the relocation kit. I found that this worked well with the Rough Country license plate relocation kit as well.

I went through this exercise when I installed new bumpers a few years ago. After looking at a lot of options I settled on the TMR Customs Wrangler License Plate Mount/Relocation Bracket. While not the easiest solution to wire, it let me mount 2 KC backup/scene lights and a RIGID Chase rear facing LED light as the third brake light (it's also a white reverse light, red parking light, red strobe, and a downward facing white license plate light). The wiring was a bit of a job, but in the end totally worth it IMO. I used Deutch connectors that disconnect easily and the entire unit comes off with 2 screws from the included threaded lug nuts. Good luck.

I adapted a Quadratec plate holder with light to work with Jeep’s relo bracket for the third brake light - it was easy enough to put together, except for the wiring requiring a lot of fast learning on my part (this was my first time making my own wiring looms):

I put one of the Off Road Only license plate kits on my wife's JLUR with a Motobilt spare tire carrier.

Another vote for Motobilt. I used a Billet Specialties frame with license plate and third brake lights.

What bracket did you use with the Rigid chase light. I’m looking for a clay to install the Rough country Chase brake light.

sorry for the delay responding, haven't been on here lately... I got the Rigid part number 90133, it comes with a tube mount and an L bracket that attaches to the back of the light. All I used was the L bracket bolted directly to the top of the TMR license plate frame. Hope this helps.

Mike, this is how I did it... not necessarily the way you should do it and probably not the "right way" the "experts" would recommend, but for my 2019 JLUR this worked for me and has been working since the summer of 2022. Also, It looks like you have a 2024, so I have no idea what may be different on your rig.

The Rigid chase light has a 6 conductor cable for 1. red brake 2. red parking 3. white reverse 4. downward white license plate light 5. red strobe (flashes red brake light) and 6. common ground. I have a 6 pin deutch connector behind the license plate to allow it to be removed with the spare. The 6-conductor wire goes through the factory grommet on the tailgate. I spliced into the factory harness wire for the third brake light in the tailgate (the right side of the picture) . I wove in the parking light, plate light, reverse light and ground into the factory harness that runs through the woven canvas hinge sleeve into the cab (red circle) and up to meet the taillight harness wiring (red arrow upper left). I found and spliced into the parking and reverse light wiring by back tracing from the taillight. The strobe wire I ran forward to my sPod along with the wiring for the 2 small KC scene lights I have facing backwards next to the plate (you can see 2 additional 2 pin deutch connectors allowing spare removal). I grounded the ground to the body in the cab - I don't think the tailgate itself is grounded from the factory (not 100% on that).

What you'll also see in the picture is my radio antenna/coax - run through the other tailgate factory grommet and follows the path of the factory harness into the cab up to my raido. When I added the antenna a few months after the Rigid light I ended up adding a braded grounding strap to the tailgate to ground my antenna.

Not sure if this helps, it wasn't that complicated overall but it was relatively involved and did take a fair amount of time to get it all right and looking like it came from the factory this way... at least I think so.
