I am making the move to 37s and have been researching tires. I am planning to go with Nitto Ridge Grapplers and am trying to decide between 12.5 vs 13.5 width. I will be going with 18" wheels, which gives me a choice of an E rated tire in the 12.5 and a D rated tire in the 13.5. I know the D will not be as stiff.
In looking at other posts, some people say that 13.5s will follow cracks/ruts in the road more and just don't drive as good as 12.5s. 12.5s seem to be the more popular option.
For those with 13.5s , can you share your experience? Any regrets going with 13.5s?
In case it mattes, I have a 2019 JLUR (3.6 Auto) and will be installing a Metalcloak GC RockSport 2.5" lift. I have not picked wheels yet, but they will most likely be Fuel wheels in 18x9 with a -12 or +1 offset (Fuel offers both offsets on the wheels I am looking at).
Thanks in advance!
