Im in the market for a new JLU. Im certain I dont want the electerofied version or the turbo 4 cylinder. What exactly does the 3.6 24 volt mean? Two batteries...one dedicated to engine start/stop? Is a normal single battery version available? I live in Arizona and batteries dont last more than 3 years.

The "24V" in "3.6L V6 24V VVT" refers to 24 valves, not volts.

It has two 12 volt batteries amg 700 cca and a auxiliary battery amg 200 cca in the sidewall of the passenger front tire its recommended if you change one you do both it’s about 300 $ if you do it yourself
