If you can find the 295s for roughly the same price then I'd go up, otherwise the difference is so minimal I'd just go with the best deal (in the tire model that you want). I went w/ my 295s since they were about $80 less than the exact same tire from all other sources., and quite a bit cheaper than the next smaller size, lol.
Nice! That’s a good point. 4 wheel parts has good sale on KM3 now so I could save a little money and go ahead up to 295.

Running 305/70r17 on my JLUR and I think it is the perfect tire for the stock height. Fits nicely and still no rubbing at full articulation.

285/75/18 for true 35” pizza cutters on stock Sahara wheels. These are possibly the largest tire you can fit on a Sahara in stock wheels and no wheel spacers.

Love it. That size was my second choice.

Almost all of you 295/70R17 tires are going to be Load Range E tires designed for big heavy trucks with 10-ply sidewalls. Wranglers are already a little on the stiff side in terms of ride quality. 295/70R17 tires are going to be really hard tires for a light weight Jeep. The 285/75/R17 in a load range C is going to give you the same height, but with a better ride. Load Range C is more than enough for a small vehicle like a Jeep.

295/70 km3. Completely changed the look.
Nice choice Jeff, those KM3s are a badass tire! Any shots straight at the side?

Thanks. First set I’ve owned and I will not buy another M/T again. Don’t get me wrong my Nitto TG were great but these are the best hands down I’ve had experience with. I’ll post a few different shots this afternoon. Thanks again.
