So I’m thinking of getting back into the Jeep game. I’ve had six or eight lost count. Looking at a two door base sport that I will lightly build up. My question… It’s looking like you can get almost a 20% discount off MSRP, even on a base sport. I definitely wanna get a 2025 and from what I can tell there are 2024’s and 2025 wranglers that don’t seem to be moving much. I’m sure it’s a function of interest rates and simply being overpriced!

i’m fortunate enough to pay cash so interest rates won’t affect me much, but I’m wondering if these are deep enough discounts or if they are gonna still free fall in the coming months. Thoughts?

A lot of it depends on how many they sell I would think. If sales are slow, there may be more price reductions or the current reductions last longer. If sales increase, they may throttle back price reductions (rebates/incentives, etc).

My suggestion is to take advantage of the current deals, pick out a Jeep you like, and have fun with it. If you try to game the system, you may end up paying more by waiting too long.

The deals right now are pretty good. My vote is go get one!

20% off of MSRP is realistic, except for the 392. 30% to 40% off for the 4XE, or the Gladiators is available, with some research. But I suggest that you stay away from the 4XE, but the Gladiator would be a good buy.

It really depends on your pain threshold and how much you value your time. Supposedly dealers are more motivated on the first day of the month, the last day, with people who know exactly what they want, etc. if you
Are going to get -20% with zero effort then you can always try for more. I mean nothing to loose there. I would target a dealer that appears to be over allocated with inventory especially one with several examples of the Jeep you want.

Another to defend them but remember a vast majority of people that a dealer see is there to kick tires, go on free test drives, look at cars they can’t afford, etc. if you open with “I am prepared to buy a Jeep today…” that should get their attention.

good luck and let us know how you make out.

On these forums, we have seen deep discounts (20%+) on 2024 models. I have yet to see that level of discount on 2025. If you can swing it then more power to you. My experience is these large discounts only show up when there are factory discounts on hand. Eg. back in October, there was a special $6K coupon from the factory that was available and that swung the market down significantly. And Nov and Dec prices were actually higher than Oct pricing for that reason.

Dealers normally (there are always exceptions) don't discount to that level on their own dime. Of course, YMMV.

Don't fool yourself, it is the corrosion issue that plagues the aluminum jeep. Hinges, door panels, hood, tail gate. Not a rust issue it is a blistering of the paint that will eventually pop reveling the undercoating. On my 2018, it was out of warrantee, so I did it all myself.

Currently, in the Phoenix metro area, most are giving 20% off of MSRP. But more than this applies to the 4XE and Gladiators. Very little discount on the 392's.

Salt Lake City is about the same, minimal discounts on ‘25s and 392. Big discounts on gladiator and 4Xe.

I suspect if you order anything it will be with a minimal discount similar to the 25s on the lot…or maybe no discount.

I will find out when Joose is available. Always seems to go smoother/better deal when you have some money to lay down on a deposit.

You might want to check out @Ratbert ’s dealer list too. These dealers supported us with good prices when the market was insane. They could use our support now too. I’ll bet you would be able to find a good deal with them, regardless if it is on the lot, or ordering.

Curious as to whether or not we can bargain on our order we placed today for our 2025 Sport S. We wanted a fun jeep that’s manual and can build up over time. This will be my 4th Jeep, and the first ever ordered.
