Our 2 door 2025 2L Wrangler Sport engine has a hurky jerky activity or engine sputter after the engine has been warmed up from driving, the Jeep sits for a short while, and then the engine is started again and you begin driving again. I wonder if this is normal. Possible vapor lock or turbo issue? The problem goes away after you drive a little. Just not sure if this is a worry moving ahead.

Anecdotally I feel like every 2.0t Jeep engine has had this behavior with me. I’ve decided not to care until I see the Christmas tree lights.

I could very well be wrong but, I felt that way in my 22 and I put a pedal commander on and it went completely away. Possibly the drive by wire gas pedal???

I’m a bit unclear on when it is doing this behavior. But from what I can tell when the 2.0 is warming up and is operating at “high idle” it is definitely more jumpy. I don’t notice a studder, but it feels different. My 23 behaves this way on initial start up but it’s never been a problem.
