2024 Wrangler OEM Front Trail Camera

It looks like I found the part numbers for both the camera and module needed to install in my Rubicon. Would some kind of software/programming be needed?

That's what I was thinking; shot a message to the Tazer guys asking if they were working on something.

I'll see if I can find it, but there was a thread where someone added the trail cam to a pre-2024 JL. If I recall correctly they had to replace the rear camera and run washer fluid lines for the camera bidets in order for it to work right.

My understanding is also that there are 2 different head units for the 2024 (the one with GPS and some other extras and the one without). As far as I know (and correct me if I'm wrong), the trail cam always comes as part of the technology group, which also includes the more feature-rich head unit. It makes me wonder if it would be compatible with the base head unit at all.

Thanks! I didn't think about there being two separate displays. I don't have the tech package, and, you're right about that package coming with the camera. I might have to wait and see if Z automotive comes up with a solution. For now I'll stick to my magnetic trailer cam. Lol

Hope this is not off topic because i actually want to safe disconnect the camera to do some work behind the grill....

After nicely removing grill i have question.... I was wandering if there is a way to disconnect camera so i dont have to unscrew it?

I was trying gently disconnect cable... and 1 was ok to do it but the (orange one) does not want to disconnect and i already damaged a little grey protective cap which was on this connection....
