2024 Willy's Suspension Question

All, new member here. I'm about 95 percent certain I'm going to order a 2024 Willy's as it includes any and all upgrades I would make to a Sport S...I do have a question about the "Willy's Suspension," however. What is it? Is it the same springs and shocks as the Rubicon? Something in between the Rubicon and Sport? What amount of lift if any over the sport does it provide?

Is just same shocks and springs as Rubi plus beefier tires and the Rubi rails.

The rubicon typically sit higher than the Willy’s unless you get the recon package. This is why you see so many stock rubicon’s with 35’s and no lift.

So I guess we've settled on a slight lift over a Sport, but not "all the way up" to Rubicon level?

My understanding is that the 2024 Willy's suspension is different than the previous JL Willy's model years....is that safe to say? I know the 24 model year gets the high rise fenders and 33s, so I'm assuming the suspension is different as well. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The 2024 Willys gets the rubicon springs, high line fenders, m220 Dana 44 narrow track rear axle with e-locker and 285/70/17 bfgoodrich all terrains. The previous Willy’s have sport springs and fenders with rubicon shocks, m220 narrow rear axle with limited slip, and Firestone desrination mt in 255/75/17. Lots of differences in the 24.

2024+ Willys will have the same suspension that regular Rubicons have. So they will have the same stance as a base Rubicon. Maybe there are some slight differences for 2024 Rubicins, but a 2024 Willys will sit the same as a non XR Rubicon did from 2018-2023.

2024 Willys - The ground clearance is 10.8 inches. I believe this is the same as the base Rubicon. The dealer told me that they both sit the same with the same 33-inch tires and the same Heavy Duty axles. The big difference is the Rubicon has the front locker and disconnects.
I believe the 2023 Willys had 9.7 Inches. (Someone can verify 2023 Willys))

FWIW mine came with 285/75/17 Falken Wildpeaks, not BFGs which I'm OK with...

The 2024 Rubicon has a Full Float rear axle. The Willys does not.

The 2024 Willys have the M210 Wide HD Tube front axle and M220 Wide Rear axle. The 2024s have the wide axles. The 2024 Willys is a great deal for what you get.

FWIW mine came with 285/75/17 Falken Wildpeaks, not BFGs which I'm OK with...

Mine did as well. Very impressive tire. Quiet and smooth as butter on the road. I repalced mine with 35/11.50 Falcon RTs and they are much harsher and louder.

As for the height between willy's and rubicon I see them by the hundreds on our lot. I dont think it's higher than the Rubicon. I might be just used to seeing them all together I see no difference almost. lol
