Google Maps is also available on CarPlay (as are Waze and others) so it's just a matter of choosing the app you prefer.
I should try some other map apps . This is my first car with android auto.

Anyone drove a stick shift 2024? Is the clutch better than previous year JLs? Anyone know what changes they did to 2024 manual transmission?
Looking for the same feedback. Debating on a Rubicon(4-door) 6 speed with 4.88's or a Willys 2.0t XR35 for the same price.

Is that map from 1980? Google map on Android looks so much better. Sorry couldn't resist.
As others said, Google maps is also an option within CarPlay. I just prefer Apple Maps. You wouldn’t know it by this one screenshot, but the graphics are actually really great, especially in urban areas and when in 3D mode.

Go to:

Settings -> Maps, then tap Driving. From there you can toggle Speed Limit on.

Make sure it's turned on
Tried that and the setting was already correct. The speed limit does now and always has shown up when I use the same thing in my MachE. Just doesn’t appear in my new 2024 Wrangler 4xe Sport S.

You can buy a wireless CarPlay adapter that plugs into the USB port. I have one for my JLU. I use the CarPlay2Air one but there are a few different ones out there.
I have one just don’t like the way it operates sometimes. Would better integration if possible. Nit picky sure but just what I’d like to know or try if at all feasible

Not a 2024 specific answer….. however as far as speed limit being displayed on CarPlay I’ve found that with my 2018 it’s only reliably displayed when I’m on an active route. If I have no destination set, it’s not displayed, but if I have directions being given to somewhere, it is. No idea why. IIRC my 2015 challenger did the same thing.

It's possible it will be updated with the IOS 17 release

On Jeep's website that they have a slider that shows the old semi-float D44 vs the new full-float and it looks like the new full-float has lower bump stops. Can anyone with the new Rubicon (non-Xtreme) check this out? It seems like this new full-float axle allows more up-travel but this would make larger tires harder to fit and clear the stock Rubicon fenders without added bump stop height or aftermarket fenders. Top is old D44 and bottom is new full-float D44.
