Thanks. June 2Congrats!! When did you place the order?
I’ve been impressed so far as well. Anthony Boi at mark dodge has been very helpful and responsive during this process. I’ll let you know how everything goes when I finally get the new Jeep.@UTME Congrats. I’ve got an order in with Mark Dodge and I’ve been impressed with them so far. You mind reporting on how delivery goes when you pick it up?
Mark Dodge hopping on those vehicle deliveries.Just received an email from Mark Dodge saying that my Rubi- X has shipped!!! ?
They are a high volume dealer and don’t mess around. I was unable to make a good deal locally in San Antonio.Mark Dodge hopping on those vehicle deliveries.
Did you get the side steps, CAI, or winch? Wondering because some are saying if you get these extras it may be the reason it’s taking longer.Thanks. June 2
I had worked a deal with Ancira for 3% below invoice. But they wouldn’t give me a solid price but wanted a solid non refundable deposit. They said the price would be at delivery. Felt kind of scummy. Went with Mark Dodge myself and it’s been at a nearby port waiting to get to the dealer for a week. I was going to drive my trade in and pick up the keep, but their trade in offer was ridiculously low so I might just fly in and pick it up and drive it back toSATx.Looks like Bolivar Peninsula. I'm probably going to pick up mine from Mark Dodge in about 4 weeks and bring it back to San Antonio. How long did it take after shipped till you picked it up?
I’m waiting to pick up my Jeep with them. I think they’ve been just ok. I never get any unsolicited updates. I have to keep asking for updates, and even then it’s usually isn’t very specific. Last update, it’s been sitting at nearby port for a week. They said who knows when it will get to the dealer. Could be in 1 day or 2 weeks. It shipped august 7th and has an estimated delivery of Sept 4. I travel for work so I’m just trying to time when I can plan to pick it up, but they don’t seem to really care about that.I’ve been impressed so far as well. No, only the x package and plastic door sill protectors. No other options.Did you get the side steps, CAI, or winch? Wondering because some are saying if you get these extras it may be the reason it’s taking longer.
Yeah, I was going to fly but didn't want to have to drive 55mph all the way back to break it in, so, I'm going to load it on a trailer and tow it back to SA.I had worked a deal with Ancira for 3% below invoice. That's the same experience I'm having with them also.I’m waiting to pick up my Jeep with them. I think they’ve been just ok. I never get any unsolicited updates. They basically told me, we will contact you when it comes in, whenever that is, almost like it’s a chore to keep updating me.
I've found Mark Dodge to be very forthcoming. Fact is there are things they can control and things they can't. I spoke on the phone with my rep multiple times before placing the order. He was patient and explained all the finance steps, and how everything would go, and was honest to a fault about how little control they have over production and shipping. And every email I've sent since has received as much detail as I could expect. They emailed when the order was formally placed with jeep and again this week when it went into D1 status and scheduled for production. I asked when I could expect production to commence and received a prompt reply and given an estimated completion date for production. No issues at all. That's the same experience I'm having with them also.
I'm in SAT right now too, ordered from the same dealer as you for exactly the same reason. The local dealerships are terrible, I had one stalk me through the parking lot even after I asked them multiple times to give me some time/breathing room. I'd have paid a little more for convienence buying locally, but the behavior of the local dealerships made it even more a priority to buy anywhere BUT from them. Don't even get me started on the Austin dealerships I tried. Ever heard of 'Arctic Blast" for AC treatment? I hadn't, but when I called an Austin dealer who was listed as having good deals, it quickly turned into a mess. They are a high volume dealer and don’t mess around. The funniest part is the sales guy from ANCIRA actually told me about mark dodge, how they have lost sales to them and don’t understand how they make money because the deals are so good. ?
