Ok, I've searched, read and searched some more and have found nothing, so please help me.

I have a 2024 Rubicon X with the factory Alpine System.

I keep reading that replacing the dash speakers makes a noticeable difference, but can't tell if that's only for the base system or for the Alpine.

Is it worth replacing them? If so, with what? Will 4" speakers fit or just 3.5". I would prefer not to poke any additional holes to mount them, are there adapter plates available and where can I get them?

It appears Terra Acoustics is gone and I'd like to stay around $100 or less if possible. If not I will re-evaluate whether spending more is worth it.

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Comes with the wiring you'll need. A little wiggling to get it seated but a really easy install with no modifications. Definite noticeable improvement but the speakers that @Pismo61 posted are better. The JBL Clubs are great speakers but the AU SoundStage speakers are better. Both are easy install and plug and play.

Side note, I tried several speakers (thanks to a car stereo friend of mine) for the soundbar and didn't see much of an improvement. The dash speakers really brought out the sound though.

Thank you Gentlemen! Just ordered the JBLs from Crutchfield. They are on sale for $64. I'll spend the difference between those and the Audio Uprising on Whiskey.

Similar to the aforementioned JBLs, I picked up a pair of Kenwood KFC-X3Cs from Crutchfield for my upper dash. They came with the appropriate adapter plugs (universal part#727902 if you need them from anywhere else) and everything fit perfectly. If the JBLs came with a resistor inline, it probably will need to be removed or unplugged and the adapter if included just connected to the speakers. Otherwise, they will pop when the current discharges from the system, relatively harmless but annoying.

They DO sound better once broken in and tuned accordingly. I find I can increase the volume without an increase in loudness if that makes sense and things are much clearer.

Thanks for the info.

What is the resistor for? I assumed it was to block lower frequencies. Does the Alpine system already filter the frequencies for the dash speakers?
