Even if I had the extra 30k to blow on a motor, there's no chance I'd want red seats in the bikini. Honestly, 392 seats should have had color matched stitching instead of red for everything.
Yup, I’m quite content with the black seats in my 392, even the 20th anniversary edition had to much red for me. Some people love it and that’s fine but to have red as the only option was a dumb business decision but hey, this is FCA/Jeep they make dumb options decisions all the time. ? I don’t think red seats will be all that bad with Bikini, it’s sarge green and red seats that makes me wanna scoop out my eyeballs with a melon baller
I did, ordered was accepted 7-18 and went to D1 on 10-12. No idea when I'll get it though.
Yeah I mean I guess if you're shelling out that much for the jeep what's another 2-3k to change the seats if you don't like em lol. I was hoping they'd accidentally drop a 392 in mine but with the black seats but alas no such luck.Blues and da mouse - I agree with you both regarding the seat color. The designers must have access to better drugs than myself.
However, when faced with the following FCA/Jeep decisions and options:
1. Bikini Pearl is stated as a limited run and no idea if offered again and when
2. The 392 is likely in its final years before cancellation.
3. Red Seats will likely stick around for a minute. FCA/Jeep managers seem to be proud of the color choice.
Juggling three bad issues and no crystal ball, it's likely now or never to get the 392 in Bikini Pearl.
I plan to get the Jeep, see if the red drives me up the wall, and have Katzkin correct the issue if needed. Already selected the pattern and color from them and it will run me approx 2.5K.
In for a penny, in for a pound at this point.
We all know that Bikini is one of the best colors! I missed this the first time and have cried quietly every time I see one in the wild.

I think when you see it you might change your mind. My personal thought was that the color is so awesome that why wash it out with the black top. Get as much of the color as possible haha.
Actually saw a bikini recently at a campground with the color matched top, and my hydro blue 392 had the color matched top. I am just a black top kind of guy.
I do agree that with certain colors a black top looks way better. Red to me would be an example of that. I just can't stop staring at this color. What can I say, I'm addicted to a hot bikini.
