Hello,

Long time lurker, new poster. I have been in the market for a new ride for a long time bouncing between lots of different makes. I finally decided to order a Jeep after much deliberation, and always wanting one since a kid, figuring it would take a while for the order to come in. So last week I went to order a Wrangler in Bikini and they informed me they are no longer producing or taking orders for this . I jumped online and searched like mad calling multiple dealers for anyone getting some in stock. I wanted to pay under sticker but it wasn't going to happen with the ride that I wanted. Fortunately a dealer within the region had one coming into the dealership within a couple days. I jumped on it, I went from thinking it would be a while to getting one within a couple of day. and will be picking it up this week!

Maybe it's the light but that looks like Hydro Blue and not Bikini - at least to me.

Yea, it does look similar to Hydro in the pic, but it is definitely Bikini.

That's one thing I like about the Bikini is how much different it can look depending on the lighting.

Mine's been built since the 12th but no movement since then. I was hoping to have it by Christmas but doesn't look likely now.

@Jaw Fracture — What a fun story, and very exciting! The picture you posted does look a bit more like Hydro Blue than Bikini to me (which is more of a teal), but it can all depend on the lighting. Here’s a pic of my Bikini in sunlight. Did you get the VIN number from the dealer? If so, you should be able to look up the window sticker online and confirm the color.

Making a more official post now. Picked the new Jeep up on Saturday from Gupton. An A+ amazing experience there as always.

Ordered it in July when the 2.0 was more broadly available to order. So perhaps I have a moderately unique Jeep in Bikini with the XR package and the 2.0. I've had the XR previously on a High Tide with the V6, and so far I prefer the 2.0. It just produces its torque so much lower in the rev range, so in city/commute driving it's felt great. On to the pics!! Love how it can be greenish at time and blueish at others.
