2024 audio upgrades

Did some work on our 21 and just finished the 24. In comparison the 24 interior refresh changed all the plastic inside except the door panels. Most wiring harnesses are similar, but the ones in the door have changed connector. Disassembling the dash became time prohibitive as well. I grabbed the front speaker signal behind the glove, ran it to 4ch amp under the seat to alpine 5.5 in the sound bar and some wake tower pods on the rear roll bars. Sounds as good as factory upgraded system and under $500

Speaker pod next to glove box for audio, though I would probably just tap speaker bar if I had it to do over. Either way run to amp under seat. Will need line to rca converter. Then out on amp to new alpine speakers in speaker bar and also to the soft top mounts for the speaker pods.

Added the Kicker HS10 to my wife’s 2024 rubicon without alpine upgraded system. No other mods or changes. Sounds as good or better than my 2022 Gladiator Rubicon with alpine system. It fits under passenger seat perfectly. I would recommend this for those without alpine. Thanks for responses. Once 2024 sound bar mods are available I may replace dash and sound bar speakers and add a 4 channel amp.

I saw that. The sound bar speakers may be something to look at. Otherwise no too much for me.

I had an audio shop install it. Tied in to factory speakers and ran power to battery.

You can build a really loaded rubi x and still have an msrp under 70k. Not justifying it just saying.

bought a 23 rubi xr out the door for less then 60, my brother just got his 24 and his was out the door under 60. both from Koons in Va.

I’m looking into an upgrade on my 24 non alpine as well. RF came out with an upgrade package, but for $5500 they can keep it.

I’ll try and find the article but i think the 24s may be out. Maybe I’m wrong and I misread it. Either way, too rich for my blood.

Spoke with RF about 2024 they said the electric seat and the new dash they will have to go back yo the drawing. Lard.

I’m also shocked at how terrible the base audio is in my 2024 Sahara. It’s easily the worst I have ever, ever experienced In a vehicle. I’ll likely go a similar route, what did the shop quote you?
