Bought my wife a 24 rubicon without alpine. I’ve had JLUR with alpine and JTR with alpine and both sounded really good to me. But the base audio in her 24 sucks. Horrible, sounds like I’m listening to music on my phone speakers. What is available since some of speakers, sound bar, and dash changes. Also anyone add a kicker hideaway powered sub to 24? Thanks.

Add Acousta-stuff /polyfill behind the speakers in the sound bar. Best easy upgrade and you'll have your mid range back. Takes likes 20mins or less and what a difference. I bought Acousta-Stuff from Crapazon, others have had good results with polyfill from the hobby stores.

I’m gonna take mine to the audio shop near by and let them see what may work.

Not yet. Been busy. Plus it’s my wife’s and she doesn’t like driving my gladiator on 37s

I’m looking into an upgrade on my 24 non alpine as well. RF came out with an upgrade package, but for $5500 they can keep it.

I saw that. The sound bar speakers may be something to look at. Otherwise no too much for me.

And this is why I ordered mine with the upgraded system. You'll spend that cost or more on a decent setup aftermarket especially if you cant/don't want to do the work yourself and it won't have the factory look and warranty.

I 100% agree, and that’s what I did last time, but this time I bought it off the lot, and they didn’t have anything under 70 grand that had that option.

Was it just 392s? No other wrangler should come in over 70k.

it was all Rubicon Xs. All the regular Rubicons didn’t have the tech pack which is what you have to get to get the Alpine.

If you price out the equipment and install, the RF package is a great deal. Is it a lot of money for a lot of people? Sure is. I'd say you'd find a person that has the RF installed will be happier than most people doing it on their own with mixed results.

Did some work on our 21 and just finished the 24. In comparison the 24 interior refresh changed all the plastic inside except the door panels. Most wiring harnesses are similar, but the ones in the door have changed connector. Disassembling the dash became time prohibitive as well. I grabbed the front speaker signal behind the glove, ran it to 4ch amp under the seat to alpine 5.5 in the sound bar and some wake tower pods on the rear roll bars. Sounds as good as factory upgraded system and under $500
