2023 Waiting/Venting Room

My freaking 2019 tundra (my trade in) just sits in the driveway with the same tank of gas from July as I have decided to not risk it with all the AHOLE drivers out there. I almost got hit head on right after ordering the Jeep by a mailman reaching in the back of the mail truck. Now It’s been 43 freaking days since I went to scheduled and every week my est build date gets pushed back. I’m annoyed. There, that felt good! That’s my rant!

I traded in my 21’ Gladiator High Altitude Overland in August to put down as a down payment on my new 2023 JLURXR. I also feared someone running into me plus the market going down on trade-ins. My new one was confirmed on 08/11, scheduled 08/18. It was built on 10/10, given a delivery date in mid November then changed to 11/20 now just updated to 11/14. I’ve seen plenty of others get theirs before mine who are in states west of me. I don’t regret turning in my Gladiator bc I’ve been able to purchase items for my new Jeep lol but at this rate it’s starting to get expensive ?.
After seeing how long some people have been waiting I hate to complain now.

The safety group has not been scheduled since the beginning of the month. Im going to guess this is the hold up for me. They're still going into production so they still have the parts for some jeeps... but my guess the vendor informed them how extensive the delay is.

Also, it makes me sick that orange is now available to order. I know I can't change my order. A 2 door orange jeep is my dream. ?

Lol yes it does, this is my third Jeep, I had a 91 YJ and a 21 Gladiator. I only ended up having the Gladiator for about 9 months before trading it in for this new Wrangler lol. I spent a lot of money on it too unfortunately.

Absolutely zero news or updates. Checking daily to see if I have a build sheet or not with my VIN, but so far no dice.

Unfortunately, I don’t think they post the build sheet until it’s completely built. Not 100%, but that’s what I was told.

My Jeep has the safety group (and all other packages) and was built on 10/25. Maybe they have limited numbers available or ? So hard to figure these delays out.

If anyone is looking for 2023 2 Door sports in MI… the dealer in Bay City has 3. 1 - Stingray & 2 - white. Both are automatic. The salesman said they are motivated to sell them! I had seen a couple people looking…

This is getting depressing

I've got the exact same rig on order. Dealer told me a week ago that it was in E status and when I dropped by Saturday they said still in E with no ETA yet. The good thing is it won't be coming by train. The dealer said they truck all of them in and it usually takes about 3 days once it ships.

The tracker stills shows me in C since Sept 14th. I had a VIN two days after I ordered which is supposed to mean I was in D at that point. Now I'm in E with no updates in the tracker. Lord only knows where half of our rigs are. I'm half expecting a call tomorrow telling me to come pick it up ?‍
