My 2023 4xe Rubicon doesn't come equipped with the Offroad+ button/mode. My understanding of this button in jeeps that have it, is that mostly it tunes the throttle for a softer/finer response to reduce jumpiness while rock crawling.

I'm running 37's on stock 4.10 gears, and I know that upgrading my gearing to 4.88 would probably help substantially, but that's just not in the budget this year before my next Rubicon Trail trip. So I'm wondering if anyone has tried any sort of electronic throttle controller (such as Pedal Commander) on the 4xe with any degree of success of gaining better rock crawling throttle control?

Those things are trash, just save up for regear
Dang that sucks, but that's exactly why I posted this question so thank you for your answer! Cheaper to get a regear, than to get a throttle controller and then still have to get a regear anyways haha

I did a lot of trails with 37s on 4.10 before regearing, it’s really not a big deal. The benefit from the regear will be getting 7-8th gear at highway speeds

Same here, I did the Rubicon last summer without too much difficulty but definitely felt like the weak link was the throttle control, was having to do a lot more two-pedal driving than I felt like I would've had to do if I had finer throttle control.

95% of the trails I do, it's not important at all, it's really only when I get to the 8-9 rated trails that it starts to be a noticeable annoyance.
