Well that escalated quickly!! ?‍♀❤?

Just got confirmation via jeep tracker that what ever happened with the back to back emails Sat must have been reinitiation of the shipping process. Evidently she is officially headed my way. ?

Interesting. Nothing on mine yet but would expect they would be on the same cattle car headed to Sedalia.
So, I just got an unsolicited email from Jeep Customer Care that had the following in it:

"Good news! I show your order has completed factory production and is presently in the shipping process progressing en-route to your ordering dealership.

I show your order has an ETA window reflected as 07/04/2023 - 07/17/2023."

My status still does not show shipped.

Hello guys, just small little out of the topic question. I am looking for headliners for my jeep as it gets really hot in winnipeg and my jeep feels like oven. Would you recommend me any particular brand as I want my hardtop to be more sound proof and less hot

I spoke with a few ppl at customer care today. One via chat, stated the alloted time would be up on July 5.
The other via phone stated the same thing you noted Re the ship status date around July 17.
He also told me they take about 33 days from built date to ship so that aligns with July 17 unfortunately. I also asked why it takes 33 days. And of course he didn't know.

There are a few.

1. You can go with Mopar

2. Hot Head Hothead Headliners | Highest Rated Jeep Wrangler Headliners

3. BedRug Search Results for “headliner” | Bedrug

I did a mix. Went with the Sound Assassin with HotHead, and the liner from Bedrug.

Hothead looked to have more coverage for the liner, but I went with the less expensive Bedrug.
Was easy to install, I had the HT off.

So, when I originally ordered the vehicle back in December, the salesman had a good feel for the shipping process to COS. He said once shipped, it's two weeks by train, and about a week to get the vehicle from the rail yard to Colorado Springs.

For what it is worth...I got the same type of email from jeep the day after my tracker delivery update of 7/18. Jeep email said 7/7-7/18 estimated. Made a call out to the dealer to clarify time frame and he said his system told him 7/7 was estimated port arrival and 7/18 was an 11 day time frame for dealership to actually take delivery. He also confirmed it "should" not take 11 days. ?‍♀

I have the Mopar Headline in our new Willys. It helps with sound and heat. It does not eliminate wind noise, however.
If you wait until after delivery you can use Mopar or HotHeads. Both are pretty popular. Depending the services available around you you will be able to install either of them yourself or have a dealer/shop install them.
I'm not sure of costs across the border.
Either way will be a nice improvement to the noise and insulation.
