Jeep Chat won't tell me anything. They are very polite, but they just tell me to ask my dealer.

My order moved to D1 last week and has a "ship date" of 4/5 now.

I'm assuming that means it'll get to the dealer sometime late next month.

How accurate is Jeep Chat vs the Dealers vs the Trackers?

My dealer told me a few days ago that I have a ship date of 4/4/23 for my order. My Jeep is still in D1 as of today. I went to Jeep Chat and they told me it's unlikely to ship 4/4/23 since it's still D1, and it might go into production 4/7/23. I just hope it does ship 4/4 .

I have almost the exact same build as you and the same D1 date. Jeep chat says there is still no estimated build date or ship date. I will ask my dealer next week and see what he says.

dealer. I'm assuming he meant build date anyway.

I am signed up with the Jeep tracker website. My point was that my dealer was given an approximation and it won't show up until the factory nails down the dates.

Yes, your dealer will have more information than what is publicly available to the Jeep tracker site. Jeep Tracker will only update when the public information is updated.

I just heard back from my guy. He said my VIN was the only one he hasn't received yet and that he was going to look into it. I ordered the day before they stopped accepting 2023 orders. I sure hope I'm not hosed. Don't want to wait for nor pay for a 2024. I've reached out to Jeep Cares and they have no records either - despite me having a VON.

I hit my guy up today to find out why I’m still in BX. I’ll post back when I hear something.

Not much longer for me! My JLUR arrived at Mark Dodge today, which was (of course!) the same day as my husband's surgery he's been putting off since November. I literally did my Zoom call to go over and sign documents while he was on the operating table. ? Then did the wire transfer and the remaining paperwork for the loan after we got home from the hospital. My bank has a limit on wire transfer on a single day which is not enough to cover what we wanted to pay in cash so I'll have to wait to send the rest. It's looking like I'm going to end up paying to have it delivered to me by trailer. It'll only cost a few dollars more than flying to Houston and then driving it back, so it's pretty tempting (although I do still want to pick it up THERE and have real Jeep people walk around with me). I have until the second wire transfer goes through to decide, I guess.

I did get some photos but it was raining there so the dealer is going to send me some more in the morning - I'll post those.

The Dealer is correct on that. That’s what the ESD really is. You won’t get a solid actual ship date until built.

I am having the same issue. My 2023 order was place on 3/11. I have a VON with a BX status. Checked in with Jeep Cares yesterday and they have no records of my order even though I have a VON. Dealer can’t find any additional information either. At this point, I am assuming I will have to switch over to a MY24.

Sounds like there are a few of us like that. My dealer said he has 4 orders like that right now. I'm fine with waiting for orders, it's the not know if my order will be accepted, built. Will they honor the POC if my order does move to a MY24? If they just cancel the order it's a bunch of wasted time I could have looking for another vehicle. Not to mention it was my favorite color that probably won't be around for MY24, Punk'n.

Don't really know much about the inner workings at Jeep, but I would assume, if by some strange chance they don't honor the MY23 order and MY24 is the only option, you would have to go into the dealer and re-do paperwork. Assuming that sales codes and pricing would be different.

If you are really set on a color, at some point it will be in your best interest to cut bait and find something on the ground. Car gurus shows 63 new orange Jeeps of different trim levels nationwide.

Can't see anyone giving you a '24 Jeep for a '23 Price.
