No, I’m in E Status also. Sales guy says he will see more updates on his end; yet when I ask once in a while, he seems ‘stressed’ over the fact to go investigate. I will inquire to see if it moved pass the framing stage yet.
Are you interrupting fantasy football?

I think there are multiple definition of "allocation" being used on this forum. I think you are saying that "allocation" means the dealer can order the vehicle (and get the VIN is assigned) and it WILL be built 100% (although nobody knows when). That is fine, but when I was talking about dealer allocations earlier, I was talking more about whether a particular dealer can actually sell and deliver a vehicle within a reasonable amount of time (let's say up to 6 months). For example, let's assume that Jeep builds a total of ten 392's per month or 120 392's per year (just a sample round number, not actual data). Let's say one of the dealers on this forum advertises a big discount on sold orders and gets 60 people to order a 392 in a year. Now....OBVIOUSLY Jeep is not going to give this dealer 50% of the entire annual production of the 392. Maybe this dealer will get ten 392's per year, which means the remaining 50 people that ordered from that dealer that year will NOT get their Jeeps until some time later.
I get and agree what you’re saying!
The 392 certainly a high demand/low volume variant of the entire Wrangler line up. It could (I’ve seen this for fact with other brands/car lines), that each dealer has to sell a certain number of non 392 Wranglers, to receive a 392. A typical way for manufacturers to proportionate their low production vehicles. Which supports your point.
Yes, a low production vehicle can typically take longer to arrive at a low volume dealer. An order confirmation with VIN does under normal circumstances ensure a vehicle will be built.
Based on reports, daily plant output is between 600 and 800 Wranglers. Even if all demand of 392’s is met, they’d still only make up a small fraction of production.

Even though the waiting process for 392’s has been utterly frustrating for most here - it is a small price of admission to a very exclusive Club!!

So, outside of HEMI exclusivity, I still believe that supplies have become a bigger factor than vehicle/dealer allocation.

Well didn’t happen for me today, day 12 “in production”. Still hopeful I’ll see the status change to “built” this week.
It was a long shot but I was hoping maybe if it moved to built today there was a small chance of getting it by Christmas. I know that’s likely not possible anyway.

anyone else get any movement @Justmefor23 @Swisskidd ?
None here. Groundhog Day.

Your only option was the half doors right? I wonder if that's the hold up. Remember I was in E for 31 days, most of which was in JB status, and I also have half doors. Maybe they have to wait to get them and have them painted and keyed?? Hope you don't have to wait as long as I did!
Yeah maybe you are right.
I was assuming they had them manufactured and painted and boxed up and the guys at JB just pulled them from a shelf and loaded up the trunk.
But if that was the case they probably would sell the kit.
You may be right that they need to paint and assemble the doors and then package them before loading them in the back.
No Jeep for Christmas Day for me, I don’t think the elves are working fast enough to do all that.

@NDRugby how long we’re you at “E” per the tracker?

It’s happening tomorrow…:fingerscrossed::idea:
:fingerscrossed:

I really had a good feeling about today. Now that it didn’t happen today I don’t know that I have it in me to think that about everyday.

Is there a typical timeframe people have noticed for moving from E to KZ?
Only as much as there is a ‘typical order configuration’
Reportings here are only a very small fraction of daily plant output (reportedly 600-800 Wranglers daily).

Once in E, selected options that are installed after the line can significantly add to the build time frame (Mopar accessories, dual doors etc).

Builds that are lacking such add-ons have been seen to move through in 1-3 days. - Tracker info is only as good as its timely updates; our database here is minimal, considering the daily output.

Hope this helps out a bit.
