Guess I have become on of the more senior orders on here for now…

Really believe it is the availability of supplies at any given time. JEEP isn’t in the storage business (not profitable to hold supplies for a certain order, while such supplies can be used to complete other orders). So each new shipment gets distributed to build who have all other supplies available as well, in order to have the build scheduled. - Purely my speculation. Have no insight one way or another.

Agreed it doesn’t want to store them. I feel like it may be a distribution issue. Its not profitable to pay carriers to pick up 1’s and 2’s. They probably consolidate builds going to the same region as they get enough to fill a transport.
just my feeling that it’s much more cost effective.
I wouldn’t blame them if it is the reason because it makes sense.

Agree - I think the shippers are overwhelmed (not enough trucks/drivers). Yes, the shipper lot holds a ton of JEEPS; where they get staged to either go by rail or picked up by truck. (Someone previously posted an areal image of the lot.)

Still showing E, but according to the dealer it is built but in storage.
im not sure when it changes to built. I figured it would show KZ but its not.
according to dealer it is JS.

I will say according to their estimated delivery date, it should be here 1/20. They may be planning that

looks like you were about 50 days after my confirmed date and I just hit KZ today..I suspect you're going to see some movement in the next week hopefully. I just went from scheduled to built in 18 days, hopefully you will as well!

The 1-20-23 EDD may still be very realistic.

No clue what stage my build is at. Haven’t pestered my dealer lately. Mine also shows E on the Tracker with an EDD of 1-8-23.

Hopefully we get them ahead of schedule. Yours has an earlier date but it seems like they should start moving soon. ?

Hey I just heard that Jeep XR packages are now delivering with 10 bolt rash rings. They look like @$$! I also heard that some have been delivered with mixed 10 and 24 bolt rash rings. I’m trying to let this marinade but think this just looks bad. Ugh!

Congrats on being like 2 months late to that news. ?

Tell your dealer you want the proper trim rings thrown in as part of the deal, if it bothers you that much.

it’s not like the silly bolts they attach the trim rings with will hold up to abuse, even if there’s 24 of them…
