When it goes D1 the dealer sees an estimated "ship date" in their system. However, that date is actually the estimated production/build date. At least that's what my dealer told me and what others seem to have experienced on here.

Right on.

Also, once in production, the dealer will receive updates while being built (paint/trim etc). The public tracker does not report on these steps in the process.

Just got an email from Cara telling me my Jeep has been built and shipping is complete. Thanks Cara, I've known this since 11/17, 6 days ago.

LOL. I just got one too that was basically “I have no updates”… uh, okay, thanks?

I kinda understood the delays when no orders with the safety group were getting built, but now seeing October orders getting built that have it posted here, while us July orders are just chilling…. I don’t get it

I finally got the call from my dealer that my Jeep arrived this morning. Funny thing is my tracker still lists the arrival date listed as TBD, which hasn't changed since the date the Jeep changed to "Shipped" status.

I can't wait to take delivery of it this Saturday!!!

Moved from D1 to E. Here’s the progress so far:

Status C: 10/12/22
Status D1: 10/28/22
Status E: 11/23/22
Arrival: 12/22/22

2-door Willys, 5-speed MT, hard top, convenience package, tow package, cold weather package. Sting Gray, Heritage Tan interior.

Picked up the Jeep early this afternoon! couldn't be happier with my dealer. No games with added fees or crap warranties they were trying to sell me. In and out. Bob Boyd Jeep took care of us. I can't stress it enough, CHECK YOUR FUSES, I had relays that were visibly unseated, and almost every fuse clicked being pushed in, and I'm going to do it again to be sure I got them all. Tires were of course over inflated to 42psi. Wandered everywhere until I lowered them, and then tracked great. Overall I'm super happy to have our jeep, we had tons of smiles all around today.

Only thing I was surprised on, it looks like they no longer do the molle seat backs on the cloth interior rubicon. anyone else noticed/know that? I'm not complaining per se. I didn't see myself using the molle system on the seatbacks with two kids in the back, and the full map pocket is far more useful than the tiny mesh thing on the molle back.

(if you look in the window, my pregnant wife is eating an apple, because we forgot about lunch, because, jeep...)

Oof. If you're doing that at 3 weeks, I can't imagine what you'll be doing at 160+ days...

Just stopping back to see if all those that ordered from June and July are finally moving along. Seems like a lot have but still some sit in purgatory. As some might remember I had a July 12th order/ rubicon xr and took delivery on Halloween. I had the opportunity to wheel mine last weekend at Rausch Creek, she did everything I expected as stock but now the spending begins. Good luck all.

Mine took from 8/8/2022 to 11/23/2022 for delivery. Dealer said it showed up in the middle of the night last night and that I can come pick it up today after work. I'm super excited.

Well, she’s sitting in the garage tonight! Five weeks after we placed the order!

Wha? That’ll be a bummer… can you share what the new one looks like? anyone else with cloth rubi seats who didn’t get Molle? (Edit: Started a new thread here - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/2023-rubicon-cloth-seats.104585/, to try to understand who gets what seat when — some I saw online still have it for 2023…)
