I will say that I know 45 days at Confirmed sucks, but there are others who sat (sit maybe) there longer before going to D1. It could be a Safety Group or a chip issue. The more I look at the trackers the more I wonder if they build more in batches based around common options (engine, color, groups. destination, etc.) or maybe combinations of options. It's anybody's guess, though.
Nope. Computer algorithm. They look at what parts they have in stock and start assigning build dates based on order date. If your Jeep has all the parts it gets a date, if it’s something they don’t have they pass on it and move on till the next go around.

@Strategist - since you said your dealer told you that your Jeep is being built but your tracker isn’t reflecting it, did you receive any sort of email from “Jeep Brand” or “Jeep Information Center” (or similar) informing you that you are in production?

Thats the way I understood it, if all the parts are there it gets a build date. For me I’m not understanding why it has a build date thats not on the tracker and my dealer cannot see. He said it has a build date but doesn’t tell him what it is.
meanwhile the tracking still shows C. Has anyone ever gone through the process with the tracking never changing?

I was just poking around inventory and saw a new 23 Willys with the PentaStar with an automatic 850RE option cost at $4000 in the sticker ?. When did the auto double in price? Am I missing something?

I have received nothing from Jeep (not even “Cara”!!) except for a single email congratulating me and accepting my order back on July 27.

I am currently showing “C” and have been for 101 days. But dealer says I’m being built now.

I hope your reorder comes quickly. We’re picking ours up at Central tomorrow.
Not a fan of the finance guy but aside from that it’s been a good experience
After canceling my 1st order at O'Hara in Falmouth (the worst dealer ever) I placed my 2nd order with Central. So far they seem very good.

Talk to Jeep chat, when I got my gladiator, they gave me the most up to date info. Tracker didn’t exist last year I don’t think? Usually you get a vin, then your order gets picked for build, this is when you can see the build sheet on crypto stickers. This means all the parts for your car have been secured. Once it’s been scheduled you’ll see a build date. I’m not 100% sure how Jeep does it. But they might do runs on specific trims/door/engines. If you have a build sheet, you’re good, they’re just figuring out when to get it on the line.

Was it not always more? It’s been that way on the B&P all week, it’s why we went with the 2.0T

I contacted jeep chat, she said they see basically the same info as the tracker and the dealer could see more. Dealer stated it has a serial number and a firm build date but it wasn’t showing him the date. Received the VIN 40 days ago. Everything seems in place just no movement since the order was confirmed. Maybe I will be the anomaly that gets a call saying it’s delivered.
Or I’ll wait 6 months…

Hmm. Yeah that is weird! My gladiator took 30 days this time last year. Jeep chat always has the info before my dealer. I knew it was delivered before he ever told me.

Prices jumped about 4 weeks ago. My dealer is keeping my quote, saved me 1700 on my order
