When did you move to D / receive your VIN?

I've been back and forth C-D then back to C then to D, etc. since August. I was "D" a week into the process, then started the dance. I had the VIN from the dealer a day or two after I placed the order in August. Got the email this morning from Jeep Build Tracker, confirmed on the Jeep official site. Now my VIN is populated in that tracker as well.

One is to dream. I was soft quoted mid November delivery when I placed the order. Crazy as I had pushed hope to sometime in 2023 as of lately. Surreal the November delivery may in fact happen!

Hope so! I just sent a text to my Dealer. Vehicle is still D1, but estimated ship date moved back 2 days from 11/9 to 11/11. Her communication is awesome. just Hoping it does not regress! Good luck, I’ll be reading your updates.

Got the D1 email this morning dealer says 11/23 shipdate so heres hoping any of that happens!!

Ship date usually means build date. Not sure why. My ship date was 10/13, it started being built 10/12. As soon as that happened I got a delivery date of 11/22 but once it shipped that changed to 11/8

I wonder if there is some "round robin" algorithm for dealership / state allocations on orders that factors into the build process. Some X factor like this would certainly help explain the seemingly random order in which Jeep chooses to build orders...

I have been in D1 scheduled for 66 days...

Hopefully mine being a manual is a sign you'll get built soon? grasping at straws but here but it could (or could not) be something?!

There's no logic to this. I went to the dealership this morning and validated there are 392s (X4) built AFTER mine that have been delivered and there's one on the showroom that was built over three weeks after mine. Now explain that? Same with area dealerships where orders have arrived as well, way ahead of mine. So they are going to look into it again on Monday but the scariest part is they really have no insight. The system doesn't give them much. The dealership is certainly nice enough but no one can tell what is the next trigger or course of action if it still doesn't move next. It's been "hot tagged" and that's supposed to bring it to priority status. That was eight days ago

I discovered it's still at the Ohio location and deliveries are direct from there to the dealership. Actually feel worse knowing Jeep could have fixed this literally any day. I'll see what they discover on Monday but I suspect it's either sitting way in the back of the yard or some union shipping worker has been enjoying a 392 for a month 19 November is my cutover and then I'm done. I'm literally going to order another one from another dealership. If you can't find it and get it to me in 60 days (from the build date), it's just not worth worrying about anymore.

I know you're reading the posts like I am and some folks have ordered and received their jeep in two months from order to delivery. WTH?

You might be on to something Rob! I got my notification mine hit D1 status yesterday as well!

Last Monday the dealer said it should be in Rolla Colorado rail yard on the 28th.
Then another 400 miles by truck to the dealer

Last night a new update. At the dealer on the second.
Looking like it will be 33 days from order to built, railed to Colorado and trucked to the dealer.

It probably is.. Mine is there,, another member of the forum spotted it in the railyard and my salesman says it will take 3-10 days to get to the dealer lot.. Maybe Monday? So hopefully yours should be loaded up very soon Keep t he faith
