Yep. Test drove Jeeps at Covert and they confirmed I could get below MSRP pricing. When it was time to order, they said MSRP was the only option. That call lasted 2 minutes. Southpoint and San Marcos Jeep did the same, also. 5th dealership I contacted offered below invoice, so I went with them...
Mine actually had a restriction on the 2.0L engine - which was described as just a potential delay. Did not delay it a lot. Ordered Oct 30 and picked it up Jan 31.
No relation to what a new Jeep costs to depreciation. 5 years ago the Jeep cost X. 5 years later that same Jeep (not a new Jeep), costs Y. Depreciation is the difference between X and Y for the same Jeep bought 5 years ago.
How you know this list is complete BS. If Jeep were truly the ”worst” then they would be at the END of this list. Hmmmm…they are far and away the best for resale value. F%$& Consumer Reports.
