I've been in D1 since 8/18. My dealer says I have a "est" ship date of 9/18 but I'm not holding my breath. I'm hoping the tracker is just not updated. Order place and confirmed 7/7/22.

Yeah. I'm a few days behind you it seems. Ordered 7/4, confirmed within a couple days/week. D1 8/23 w/est. ship of 9/30. We'll see.

Estimated Ship date is the date it is "estimated" to go to Production. Why they label it as 'ship' makes no sense to me...but then again this whole process is beyond my comprehension

13 sep production started

arrival eta is 13 oct.

Just got back from a watering hole after ride on my motorcycle. Met a retired train guy.
I asked what are the chances the strike will be averted. He thinks the Biden administration will force the train engineers back to work. YMMV..

If they would let me pick it up, I would gulp a half a bottle of ibuprofen, pull an all nighter on the motorcycle to Toledo and then rent a UHaul motorcycle trailer for the trip back home tomorrow (that is what the towing package is for right???). alas that is not in the cards according to Corporate.

Still do not have a build sheet or a window sticker. That is fine, I rather take some photos of MY Sahara in my driveway than have those pieces of paper but no Wrangler.

FYI she has the floor mats, the cold weather package, the tow package and the safety package, so those items are not slowing up builds folks.

Guess it is time to get some cigars ("It's a Wrangler on the wrappers") and start making calls for tires, additional Mopar tweed top, suspension upgrades etc.
I did not want to buy such items until the Wrangler was done, else I could jinx the build, sort of like the Falcons planning a Superbowl parade prior to actually winning the thing..

My salesman emailed me today letting me know they accepted my change (leather add) and that my build moved to D status. He gave me a VIN also. I only ordered a week ago, is that good?

Movement is movement. I would highly recommend you restrain from comparisons. Perhaps with other orders from your state/zip code. Otherwise, it is random as hell as to how Jeep produces these vehicles.

First one is days from one status to another for those that have moved statuses. Second is days "stuck: at a certain status.

Interesting stats. Nice to see that once there is movement, that movement happens relatively quick compared to being stuck at Order Confirmed...

Does anyone know why they send to body vendor (what additional items they add)? I have heard extreme recon which is understandable but what other options? Rock slider steps? Off road camera? Is there a list of what is not installed on the assembly line?
