9 aug ordered and vin created
16 aug scheduled
13 sep production started

arrival eta is 13 oct.

Just got back from a watering hole after ride on my motorcycle. Met a retired train guy.
I asked what are the chances the strike will be averted. He thinks the Biden administration will force the train engineers back to work. YMMV..

This is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if there is a way to track the vehicle once its shipped from the plant? My dealer told me that my Jeep would be on a train from Toledo to NYC, and then trucked from NYC to my dealer in Massachusetts.
Here is my ordering timeline:
Ordered & Confirmed - August 6
Scheduled August 16
In Production - September 7
Built - September 9
Shipped - September 9

I spent a couple hours searching the internet and came up empty. Seems like only way is to ask your dealer.

My dealer just messaged me that they think mine will arrive around the end of the month...

Just checked the tracker and it shows no update from D1 status...

With the rail strike looming, I leaning to believe neither ?

So, update:

Unrelated, Willys...that trip I took to Ouray last month? Well, 3 people died in Ouray this weekend in a rollover. Casual Jeep enthusiasts beware.

The missing TL discount is understandable. But slapping another $1500 onto the price @ the last second? Have them breakdown what it is that you're paying an additional $1500. See if they're trying to double charge you for the destination fee, maybe? Hell, they might try to justify it as inflationary costs. Congrats on your Jeep!

Thanks for reply! Yeah, I’m also be worried at they want to charge more than that discount. And the good news is they change $1500 to $500 today after negotiations. It makes more sense to me.

Talked to my dealer and he said my estimate build date is Oct 1st ugh why so long, it hasn’t updated on trackers yet is this something they can see before trackers

2023 JLUR 2.0T with XR in Reign. Ordered today - 9/14/22, got VON immediately. cold weather, LED, front camera, 3 piece black top. The waiting begins.

Still trying to get my VON from Monday but I ordered the same jeep except Sarfe Green. Has your order status been updated to C or D? My dealership wasn't sure if my XR package would get rejected

Order went through just fine as far as I can tell. Just ordered it about 3 pm today so it may be a bit before I have more details.
