Mine has shipped and is awaiting pickup for the last leg to the dealer. I did order in April and it got pushed to an early 2023 on June 9th.
Did you get that info from your dealer, just curious? Mine was put on rail a week ago today headed to Wilkesboro NC and dealer hasn’t got any word yet on its whereabouts. Hope you get yours in the next day or two!…??

If you don't mind me asking (and you don't have to answer if you don't want), but the OTD price for the Sport I'm waiting for but the upgraded Willys was 52,000 OTD. The Sport is supposed to be about 6,000 less. T&L 4,800.- No elec. pkg. Was yours similar? The reason I'm asking is I'm not a good haggler, I'm female and doing this by myself and while I'm doing what I can to keep the damage control down, I am afraid of a big rip off. Thanks.
I dealt with Koons in VA and got 5% under FWP without any haggle whatsoever. They happen to be my local dealer as I'm in DC, but my guess is that any of Ratbert's dealers would be the same. No need to worry about a rip off if you use one of them, just need to compare because some are marginally better prices than others. Part of the beauty of a forum like this is that bad dealers get outed pretty quickly and wouldn't make it onto such a list. FWIW, I ordered a Sarge Green WIllys 2 dr from them with premium top, rock sliders with step assist, 3.6L MT, Doors off mirror kit, safety group. MSRP=$41,690, FWP=$40,330, their price=$38,313.50 plus tax, tags and $899 processing. Also need to use Chrysler financing which can be refinanced after 3 payments made. Hope that's helpful.

so I’m also a female doing my first wrangler purchase and the first dealership I went to was quoting me a price above the online build tool, added things I didn’t want and wouldn’t let me see the POC. I just didn’t feel right about the order and I decided to go with a dealership out of state. Turns out it was the best thing I ever did. I got to add about $1170 in options and my total was 51700 including taxes and fees whereas my original order has a window sticker price of 51,295. And I could only imagine after taxes and fees I’d probably have been at 58000.
Be on your p’s and q’s. And I don’t think it’s even just because we’re women, could just be that they don’t expect first timers to know any better.

My dealer told me this on Tuesday (Mall of Georgia):

"It looks to have arrived at the rail yard yesterday, it can take the rail yard up to 10 days to get it to me, I had one sit there for 15 days in late Aug, that said I have no idea when it will get to me, once it hits the rail yard all updates cease and the rail yard doesn't communicate with us, they just show up one day and drop off vehicles."

My status on all of the trackers still just shows as "Built" KZ status.

What’s going on with shipping? Feel like my Jeep is in transit purgatory. Shipped 2 weeks ago and was supposed to be delivered Tuesday but then changed to TBD.

Also other 2023 Jeeps have already been delivered in my state this week according to the Jeep website and dealer websites.

I am going to help you a little bit, because I think you may be looking at the wrong model for your needs.

The Sport is the bare bones model no power windows and locks with the V6 etorque and Automatic options net MSRP price (includes destination and a non-white color) is $40,155 before taxes, etc.
The Sport S adds power window and doors a few other features and would be $43,455
The Willys adds PW/PD, Limited Slip Differential (which you probably will never need in LA), slightly beefier tires, better brakes and suspension LED headlights and fog lights and a few different appearance items for $46,750.

I think the Sport S is probably what will best suit your wants and needs.

I get a similar story from my dealer. He never knows when vehicles will show up on his lot. From the time they ship from Toledo it can be less than a week or as much as a month. He can see when it left Toledo (8/24 in my case) and arrived at the railyard in Baltimore(9/1) , but nothing after that until the car carrier arrives at the dealership.

Interesting. I didn't realize to go out of state. I've been with my credit union for over 35 yrs and have bought many cars through their Autoland rep, which credit unions have. I've probably been ripped off every time! This will be my 4th Jeep. I had a 4 dr cherokee that I loved but it got T-boned in an intersection. Should have had it repaired. Wasn't thinking.

Then I built a custom 2 dr and had to dump it after 4 months bc my mother got sick and couldn't get in it, nor could I lift her wheelchair in to it. Then I bought a 4 dr a few years ago, but it was just too much like a truck, heavier than the Cherokee and the Wrangler. But I'm Baaaa-a-a-ack! Willys for me.

Did you get a Wrangler Sport or a Willys? If a Willys, did you get the electrical pkg that includes elec windows and locks? Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for your help. I got about the same numbers you have...and I don't need the upgraded model, but didn't realize I couldn't cherry pick options. I just wanted power windows to add to the Sport Willys but it isn't offered. If I can't get a better price on the Willys or my trade in, I'll move down to the Willys Sport. I think we're on the same page. Thank you!
