I got an update from my dealer that my Jeep left Toledo by rail and is headed to Baltimore and has an estimated arrival there of 9/3. No timeline yet to get trucked from Baltimore to my dealer in PA. So, maybe arrive there the week of Labor day.

Since it was getting shipped by rail, it got me thinking about the path by rail it was getting there. I don't live far from the Susquehanna River and there is a major NS rail line that follows the river down to Port Deposit and on to Baltimore. Made me think my Jeep might be within a mile of my house on its way to Baltimore. So going down the rabbit hole of finding out where the auto distribution facilities are for NS in Baltimore, I came across this gem of information:

Someone from CA had posted about their delivery date and that they had heard it would need to switch trains on the way to CA. That appears to be true. NS has facilities in Chicago, KC , and New Orleans where freight would switch from NS to western railways. It would appear most deliveries west of the Mississippi would take a NS from Toledo to a gateway city for western lines.

I know, I'm too deep into this...

absolutely think it's the easiest to own, love the convenience of touching 5 buttons and feeling open air. I've had it for 15 months and really just wanted a Jeep that could get "totally naked" . I don't mind messing with the top and I watch the weather like crazy any way, so I'll go freedom panels out but stored in the back if there's a chance of rain. doors / top off the rest of the summer.

You'll love it, its a great option

Anyone have concerns about entering info into https://waitingforjeep.com/. Can anything bad happen with a VON and name? I guess similar for crypto stickers. Should I keep my VIN confidential or is that easy enough to get. Maybe not easy to associate to me but not sure it’s really confidential?
