I hope both of your Jeeps go into production soon. Dont think it will help also, but my 392 was in C status for 187 days. I went into E on 1/4.

Congrats. I’d really like to see some stats specific to 392s. I don’t know if it’s dealer allocation or if it’s a Jeep corporate allocation. Something is going on. Might be this is the last year of these 392s and they underestimated the demand. I’m at 124 days in C but have a VIN - really D status. The wait is driving me nuts but am resigned that this will be a 9 months effort and something that will be worth it in the end (knock on wood).

I've done this 3 times to push out the date. Just tried it again this morning and it worked. Here's what I did. Open up a new in-private window (Chrome or Edge). Enable cookies if it asks. Start building a Wrangler. Eventually a popup with the offer will appear.

Have someone else, friend/family, go to jeep.com and try it out, when they see the popup to enter your info. The info it's just your name and email address, that's all.

After a long wait, I've finally moved to "In Production" and received an estimated delivery date!!

So if that's accurate, about 5 months from order to delivery. We'll see!!

I bet they are just slow to get them all logged right now, and yours is either one of the ones that skips the “shipped” step or it will go shipped tomorrow.

Make sure that you are going past the summary page when you build your jeep on the
Jeep webpage. I just built two different jeeps on the webpage. The $1,000 offer did not appear until I reached the summary page of each build.

New here and to the Wrangler ecosystem. Just ordered my first Wrangler Jan 7th. White, tan seats, 2 Door, bone stock except for the 2.0L and auto.

Since we're in FL, our plan is to ride it doors off, safari style or top down. Can't wait!

It does not help, but you are still doing better than I so far. My 392 order was placed on July 3rd and it was stuck in C/D status until December 19th, which is 169 days. My total wait time as of today is 188 days and I am not anywhere close to getting delivery.

Any excuses about shipment delays of components are total BS because I have a basic build and some people that ordered their 392 weeks and months after me have either made better progress or got their Jeeps delivered already. Jeep chat is totally useless. It's a pacifier for people like you and I. If you are not super picky about options, you can find plenty of available 392's on Cars.com, with a discount too. Only reason I have not cancelled my order yet is because I could not find a 392 with options I required (towing package and a trail cam) and without options I don't need (XR package, Gorilla glass, SOT roof, etc.)

I think you both should ask your dealer's GMs about how dealer allocation works. I think you'll find the conversation interesting if the GM will be honest with you about it...

The correct word is "antenna," but I suppose an antenna is a form of dongle.

Here's the rundown on mine...

Almost 3 months to the day in C/D before hitting D1, then production about 1.5 weeks later (also note it entered production on a Saturday for the people in this thread that don't use the search function and constantly ask "does the factory make Wranglers on the weekends?"), the 4 days later it was built. It arrived at the AEV dealer in Michigan that it was diverted to on either 12/9 or 12/10 (so about 2-3 days after being built).

They are very likely quoting your scheduled production date, not the shipping date from
The factory.
