The sad part is my Unlimited is with my son at College in AL (he is in process moving back and then go to grad school) was stolen. They took all valuables including his drum set (again he is moving) phone, air pods, cloth, shoes and all tools, emergency kit, tire pump out. Then decided to take a joy ride and banged it up really good and drove it in a wall and run off on foot when the police try to stop them. All because my son was nice to help a drunk girl home. He works as a bouncer and he knows her drove her home and carried her inside her apartment she was that bad. he comes out and the Jepp is gone. WE only found it because he had left the iphone in the car and police tracked it with ”find my”.

Wow. You never know anymore. Hang in there, your Jeep will eventually make it's way to you. We all just have a strange circumstance. All these vehicles will be the first to have Jeep's new MT.

My 20A shows in production for 70 days. Dealer has no idea what the hold up is. Contacted Jeep customer and got a 4 paragraph e mail that said “We will look into it and let you know in 2 weeks”

local dealer has had. 392 20A for over a month with a VIN that is 120 before mine??

I ordered the Blacked out grill and half doors. I don’t know what else could be holding it up.


Any thoughts?

Dealer shows the Jeep is in the Body Factory.
His rep tells him it is a 392 part shortage but it wouldn’t be in the body factory if that were the case.
I feel like it is waiting for half doors or the blacked out grill or maybe the on board air compressor. Drivetrain should be in by the time it gets to body factory. ???

My understanding is the body gets built then the drivetrain is added.

I don’t remember that being an option. But you shouldn’t have a hard time removing one. Some are more challenging than others.
I guess it could be an option depending on trim.

There are several videos online that takes you through how a wrangler is built in Toledo. You should go watch.

Just do soft covers, then it shouldn’t be bad. Make sure they have a hole for the camera.
