Mine is still in production from around the same time for Gupton as well. Estimated delivery 11/11 and as of Thursday Daniel said it’s with the body vendorMine has been "in production" for 11 days now... but at least that's progress!

A bit crushing seeing your order date was the same as mine, but I’m still sitting in C status. I know scheduling is a complete toss up, but can’t help but be jealous. Enjoy! That's odd. Ours was built a day earlier, but estimated delivery date is 10/27. Like you, I'd expect to see them delivered sooner.

i'm honestly surprised at how quickly ours has moved. I was totally expecting a mid-December delivery (which could still happen). It's absolutely crazy how random these orders are being fulfilled. Here's to ? hoping your status is just not updating and your rig magically shows up on the same truck as ours!A bit crushing seeing your order date was the same as mine, but I’m still sitting in C status. You will likely move up. My original delivery date was 11/12, then 10/31, then 10/19, and it updated today to say it was delivered on 10/18. Daniel said they need 48-72 hours with it to inspect it and get it ready for pickup. Mine was just built at the beginning of last week.![]()
Built! Estimated delivery still 11/11. Any Gupton orders have any sooner estimated delivery dates? Hoping mine gets moved up
That’s awesome. Seems like quite a few Gupton orders go from Built to DeliveredYou will likely move up. We just got notice that ours was delivered. It went from built to delivered with no other updates other than estimated delivery dates being move up. Sounds like that's becoming a norm with Jeep's order tracking data. That’s awesome. Seems like quite a few Gupton orders go from Built to Delivered
Nice! At least your est delivery was fairly accurate. Mine moved up today from 11/11 to 11/2We just got notice that ours was delivered. Were you able to make an appointment to pick yours up? Mine just showed up today...hopefully able to get there next Friday. Thanks. We got there a little bit before our scheduled time and my jeep was waiting in the front row. The entire process was painless and quick. They had to redo parts of my paperwork (they got the error before I saw anything [wrong zipcode for some reason]), but that gave me extra time to check out the Jeep more and use the bathroom. Even still we were in and out in about an hour. Jeep was fueled up and fully charged.
Two things I wish I would have considered though, and neither are Gupton's issues. The first is, I did put some money down, but I wish I had set aside some for the sales tax. I rolled it into my loan, but to be perfectly frank, I have the money and didn't need to do that. That is on me - I hadn't bought a new car in 10 years, and I rolled everything in the last time I did. I knew what the amount was going to be and the silly thing is, they are going to cut me a check so I can pay the taxes in my state, basically giving me back some of my downpayment. So, yeah, I wish I had thought that through a little bit.
The other is the warranty. I knew I wanted it and I knew what the general price was going to be and I was fine with rolling that in; I didn't want to mess with it after the fact, and I had read enough on the site that getting it is sound insurance, especially for the 4xe's, but when you combine that and the sales tax, it's a decent amount. I wish I had set aside some to account for the warranty and then set aside some for the sales tax for my state instead of rolling it into the loan.
Some of you already know this, but I will be paying interest on my sales tax and interest on the warranty and that is dumb on my part; especially when I HAVE the cash.
All that being said, I am very happy with my Jeep and happy with my service at Gupton, would recommend them to anyone and I thank the forum members here for their advice and wisdom!
Oh yeah. Renee will send you a "Welcome" email with a bunch of details in it and will ask when you want to come to pick it up. I gave her a date and time and that was it!Were you able to make an appointment to pick yours up? Mine just showed up today...hopefully able to get there next Friday. Thanks.
