2022 JLU I’ve seen videos about changing out the 3 1/2 corner dash speakers as well as changing out the 3 1/2 tweeters in the sound bar in a JLU. I’ve also seen people change out the rear sound bar with a 6 1/2 and plugging into the 4” midrange cable. My question is can you change out the 4” with a new 4” 2 way and unhook the stock 3 1/2” ? I have no intention on using pods and cutting sound bar. I’m old and don’t have the patience to do that but would like better then stock speakers that i could easily change out myself

For the base system, you can get adapters to add 6 1/2 to the sound bar without cutting. Otherwise, after much experimentation and never trying it myself, I think swapping the 4" and leaving the 3 1/2 unplugged is the best option. It's possible the 4" speaker cavity in the sound bar may not accomodate a large magnet speaker, so check that out before buying the speakers.
