Inflation on that "Sport" emblem is a mutha. Seriously, though, totally agree. So the thing that gets old with me with Jeep is that the msrp of the base sport 4xe is now the cost of what my decently (hardtop, cold weather package) optioned Sahara 4xe was in '21, and it doesnt even have led headlights. Come on Jeep, at $55k you can make those standard.
The OEM apparently also have safety features like gorilla tech, and acoustic magic for a quiet drive, which might account for the price vs the cheaper glass, not really sure about that the quiet benefits, my top and windows are always open, and I never had an issue with noise.no that is not true. my glass shop said they get non oem with antennas
People that lease don't tend to get attached...or change their oil.In OP's case- newer and less/month, makes total sense. While I really enjoy my 22, I will be moving on when my lease is up. As others have said, the price is at/above some interesting competitors(depending on your use case)- for me, those include the upcoming R2, GX550, new 4Runner, etc. Or I might fully embrace the midlife crisis and combo a 996 Porsche and TJ for less than the cost of a new Wrangler?
Not side airbags, full float axles, sound deadening, screen or FAB delete?I have a 2023 Rubicon 392 and a 2024 Rubicon X. There isn't anything that was added to the 24 that makes it better to me.
I'm leasing and have put 20k into upgrades and hitting the Rubicon in July. I do plan to buy outPeople that lease don't tend to get attached...or change their oil.
-2021 does'nt have the Renegrade grill ? and we have two ...yes two.. interior light knobs.....?
Bonus....free engine cover!
I'll have to take your word for it as I always change my oil and keep up with routine maintenance. On my 4th lease. I also get attached to all my cars....hence the reason I follow this forum on a car I rent.People that lease don't tend to get attached...or change their oil.
I already stated the airbags. Not side airbags, full float axles, sound deadening, screen or FAB delete?
Had a business associate have his life saved by side curtain airbags(based on how he was impacted)..that was almost the selling point for me to move from my 2020 to a 2024 - in the end I did not though. The MSRP difference between the 2021 and 2024 is significant, and I don't see any value in that difference, actually most of the "enhancements" are actually things I don't like.
I'm more worried about getting hit on my bicycle or skateboard which I use more than the Wrangler outside of winter.Had a business associate have his life saved by side curtain airbags(based on how he was impacted)..that was almost the selling point for me to move from my 2020 to a 2024 - in the end I did not though.
LOL...can not say I blame you!I'm more worried about getting hit on my bicycle or skateboard which I use more than the Wrangler outside of winter.
baffles me as well, but no seat memory. So there is not a memory seat function for the power seats? That seems crazy as it is already in the UConnect software. All they had to do was put the buttons on the door, or just give you the option to attach it to your proximity key. My wife rarely drives my Jeep so it would not be a big deal. However, I driver her Grand Cherokee all the time and not only does it have the buttons on the side of the door (right below the massaging seat button, super nice on longer drives) but it is also setup with my key. Meaning, once I touch the door handle, the seat and mirrors are already adjusting to my 6'1 and fat body compared to her 5'6 and smaller frame.
