I 100% agree with you. I really like the JL, but the seats are horrible for me and my wife.

My wife loves the JL seats. She is 5'2 and can finally see over the dashI 100% agree with you. I really like the JL, but the seats are horrible for me and my wife.

Ha!I expect that since everyone is raving about the Bronco's seats that Jeep will move to upgrade theirs in the coming years. Unfortunately this won't help you in your current Jeep but it seems you aren't alone in your sentiment.
Already have a cushion- but maybe not the right one - it is bulky and helps fit a while but not a solution.Try a hemorrhoid pillow. Seriously - they're $30 on Amazon. I had to get one for my desk chair in my home office - huge difference.
Sometimes you just need more cushion for your tushion.
I actually looked into this as we loved our 2017 grand Cherokee Trailhawk seats. they won't fit in the JL.I’m not too fond of my seats either. It took a long time to get used to it.
I would much prefer some grand Cherokee seats in place of the JL seats if it easy enough to swap out. I have no idea if they are but powered seats and headrests that don’t protrude would be nice.

I think you meant to post this link
interesting, the seats in my brothers rx450h f sport are surprisingly comfortable. i dont have any issues with the jl seats, would love a little more softer padding but this isnt an 80s cadillac and they are more then adequate.Same. Just did an 1800 mile trip in my JLU, no issues. I can't go 200 miles in my son's RX350 without stopping to stretch...The relentless pursuit ofperfectiona chiropractor.
A friend has a Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and he was having comfort problems. Same as you. He was ready to sell it. He took it to a automotive upholstery shop. Thanks for all the replies - I never thought that it was the angle of the seat so I may try the block to lift the front of the seat.
To be more clear, currently it feels like I am sitting on a rock after a few hours. The lumbar is fine and the back angle seems ok. It is just that both sides of my rear hurt terribly and constantly eventually. I think my butt bones (the sitz bones) are bottoming out on the seat pan.
A friend has a RX350 and I find the seats uncomfortable also. Too hard.Same. Just did an 1800 mile trip in my JLU, no issues. I can't go 200 miles in my son's RX350 without stopping to stretch...The relentless pursuit ofperfectiona chiropractor.
Air bag and sensors might be a problem.I’m not too fond of my seats either. It took a long time to get used to it.
