Update.
I start to work with a different dealership, Ill call them dealer B, they pointed out to me that it is impossible for the original dealership, dealer A, to have done the recall on my 2021 as the recall fix and parts only became available on June 1st. Dealer A did the recall in January. After the technician for dealer B ran through the cars computer he found that there two updates for the vehicles pcm and dealer A never flashed anything onto the vehicle when they did the recall. But the issue that I am having may be caused by dealer A installing incorrect parts for the clutch. Dealer B is still waiting for part numbers for the June fix to cross-reference with Dealer A's list but several of the technicians at dealer B think the part numbers wont match. I have an appointment coming up to do the recall with dealer B and will update this thread further.
My Wrangler went in for service work due to an engine misfire. While the Jeep was up there the Dealership decided to do the clutch recall without asking me/getting my permission. After I got the Jeep back and was told about them doing the recall. A month latter i go to tow my 1100lbs trailer down to Springfield MO for the Morre exo and found out that I can no longer get any power when in 4th gear up 3% grade hills. I had to drive the entire time in 3rd gear at almost 5k on the tack the entire trip. This was not the case in the past when I towed my trailer when it weighed 1500+ lbs down to Springfield MO. I told the Dealership about this and they told my im pretty much out of luck and there is nothing they can do about it. I also feel like the jeep is overall slower at accelerating, but did not notice this at first as the dealership took a month and a half to work on my Jeep.
Has anyone else ran into a similar issue since the recall or had any recommendations? At this point I feel like my only option is to either have a preformance shop re-tune the ECU/PCM or regear from 3.43 to 4.88 or 5.13. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
If it helps any, my Jeep was built on November 2021 and is a Sport S with 33s from a Rubicon.
