Hello all,

I see other threads here for this issue but no one has posted a solution...
Is this a fairly common issue? Would replacing the head unit with an aftermarket one fix this?
Has anyone with an aftermarket head unit experienced this issue as well?

The aux battery has been disconnected for a while now, and the CAN-BUS was replaced about 2 weeks ago after my dash lit up like a christmas tree and I couldn't shift into gear.

Thanks for your help.

Pull fuse F97 and your negative battery terminal for about 15 minutes. Reconnect and the issue should go away. That has happened to me when i cleaned my dash before with just a microfiber cloth. Even though the Jeep was off this kept happening.

Thank you, I will give that a try.
But I'm still looking for a cause and solution to prevent it from happening again.
