2018 JLU Loud knocking noise

My engine makes a loud pulsing noise which shakes the entire car on a cold start. Dealer couldn't find what it was. It goes away if you wait for a minute or if you put it in gear. What is this noise? video

The whole thing doesn't sound good. From the loud knocking at startup, to the thumping later.
When was the last oil change, and how many miles since?

It's been 4 months and 1200ish miles but I've checked and the oil seems fine

Sounds like exhaust related. Not sure on thumping. Not a oil realated

Have you been underneath to get a look at what may cause the knocking?

My jeep was at the dealer for a month and a half. The sound sounds like it comes from the engine where I pointed in the video but I haven't been underneath

This is a failing timing chain tensioner/phaser. Pretty common on the 2.0s and is best heard on cold starts. The 2.0L makes so much noise under normal operation a lot of guys don't notice it.

Replace the chain and all associated parts
