You could put a new engine in and something else could go, or not. We never know ahead of time so all we can do is make decisions on probabilities. And with that kind if mileage the probability for things to break is much higher.

Original owner, 2008, factory lifetime powertrain warranty here. They’ve never denied a claim for me. My Jeep purs like a kitten at 140k. Very reliable. Consumes very little oil these days.
